 Love
Me Do. 45-R4949. Original red label Parlophone single with 'Made in Gt.
Britain' credit.
Offered for sale is this very clean debut single by The
Beatles. Red label Love Me Do's are hard to locate these days - (they
are 46 years old) and few escaped having a name or initials written upon
the label. This one has no such marks and we have graded the labels as
being in clean excellent plus condition. The vinyl is bright and
although played a fair few times, it still warrants an excellent grade.
This is a nice early pressing with a 'G' stamper to the 'B' side. Buy with confidence.
An extremely solid copy of this hard to find record which we would not
expect to be around for too long.

Please Me. 45-R 4983. Original red label Parlophone single with 'Made in
Gt. Britain' credit.
The red label Please Please Me is a very rare record. The
huge majority of this title were pressed using the new black Parlophone
label and only the very first few copies were pressed on the old red
style and were purchased by the original fans. This is a clean copy
which we have graded the labels as being in excellent shape. The A side
has a small initial 'S' written on the dink and the 'B' side has a scuff
where at some point a biro name has been removed. The vinyl is in VG
condition, no heavy marks, just the usual surface marks that are
associated with fairly heavy use. Buy with confidence. More than a
shelf filler, although not top flight, this record would make a fine
addition to all but the most fastidious collector.

Please Me. PMC 1202. Parlophone yellow label mono long playing record.
We are pleased to offer for sale a really nice, clean copy of
The Beatles' debut album 'Please Please Me'. This particular copy
features a Garrod and Lofthouse sleeve and has labels that carry the
'Recording first published 1963' legend. We have graded the vinyl as
being in solid excellent towards excellent plus condition. The labels
are very clean and we have graded these as being in excellent plus
condition. The G & L sleeve is excellent with no biro or other marks as
may be seen from our photographs. It is still highly shiny with it's
laminate undamaged by ring wear. Buy with confidence. Now 45 years
old, this favourite LP is a really strong example of it's type. There
really can't be that many left that are in as good as shape as this
copy.

   With
The Beatles. PMC 1206.Parlophone yellow label mono long playing
record.
This is an extremely sound copy of this, perhaps the largest
selling Beatles' album. At No. 1 from release until it was replaced by A
Hard Day's Night, this album must have sold by the bucket load. How many
still exist in anything like reasonable condition is anyone's guess! We
have graded the vinyl as being in excellent plus condition with the
labels looking extremely crisp warranting an excellent plus grade too.
The cover, the thicker E.J. Day version is graded as being better than
ex, but not quite getting to excellent plus. That said, the whole
package is in better condition than 95% of these albums that we have
ever seen. Buy with confidence. This would be a welcome addition to
anyone looking to upgrade at a budget price.

The Beatles. PCS 3045. Parlophone yellow label Stereo long playing
record.
Much harder to find in Stereo than Mono, this format probably
accounted for about 1 in 20 during 1963. This first issue Stereo copy is
in good useable condition. The vinyl is graded as being in excellent
minus. Overall the vinyl is very keen, but we have downgraded due to a
bale arm mark on side 1 and a light scratch on side 2. It is a very
early copy carrying a 'G' stamper to side 2 and an 'R' stamper to side
1. The labels feature the 'Jobete' credit for 'Money'. The labels are
very clean and we have graded these as being in excellent plus
condition. The sleeve is a Garrod and Lofthouse version and is in VG+
condition, it has no marks, or biro'd names on it, but it has yellowed a
little and each corner is not as sharp as it would have been when new. Buy with confidence.
A hard record to locate in Stereo, the price adequately compensates for
the small defects that we have listed.

Hard Day's Night. PMC 1230.
Parlophone yellow label mono long playing record.
If you are looking for a clean copy of The Beatles' third LP,
this could well be for you! Very clean and useable, we have graded the
vinyl as being between excellent and excellent plus with a small amount
of bag rash being the reason we have downgraded it. The labels feature
the 'typical' typography for this record and are in unmarked excellent
plus condition. Very few spindle marks are visible. The sleeve which is
a Garrod and Lofthouse version is graded as excellent. It is clean and
unmarked has a couple of stress marks to the lower spine, but overall is
in sound shape. Buy with confidence. A solid copy of this album, it
would please any collector looking to add the mono album to their
collection.

Hard Day's Night. PCS 3058.
Parlophone yellow label
Stereo long playing record.
The stereo version of this record is much harder to locate as a
first pressing than are the mono counterparts. This copy for sale is a
workaday copy that could be pressed into service for listening to. We
have graded the vinyl as being in excellent condition, it has a little
bag rash, but no heavy scratches. The labels, which feature the typical
typography for this album are in excellent plus condition with evidence
of spindle marks around the centre hole. The sleeve is in VG plus
condition. It is clean and unmarked but exhibits a small amount of wear
to the corners with some thickening of the leading edge of the throat. Buy with confidence. Not seen in stock every day of
the week, this relatively rare LP is offered at a price that adequately
compensates for the faults as mentioned above.
