and Conditions |
|
Please take a little time to read these Terms
and Conditions. Your taking part will be deemed acceptance
of these terms.
1/ Bidders may take part using E Mail, telephone or post. If you are not already a customer of Good Humour,
please register with us giving your name, address, phone
number and E Mail address. We will confirm that you are able
to bid in this auction. Due to large number of bids being
received, we are unable to accept bids by telephone after
12.00 GMT on Sunday 20th May 2007.
2/ Bidders are identified on each Lot as a 'current bidder' by
their initials i.e. (BJ). This appears in the panel
alongside the Estimate box. Should you wish to be identified
by the use of a 'tag' - please advise us of this.
3/ Bidding increments are as follows: £50 - £100 in
£10 increments. £100 - £500 in £25 increments, £500 -
£1000 in £50 increments, £1000 - £5000 in £250 increments and £5000 - £10000 in
£500 increments. We will not accept bids that are
given in increments not conforming with the above. For
example, the next acceptable bid on a bid of £300 will be
£320. We will not accept a bid of £301.
4/ Successful bidders will
be notified by E Mail week commencing Monday 21st May 2007. Our E Mail will advise you of the amount of your
successfully bid upon item (s), as well as the additional cost
of postage (or Fed Ex, DHL or UPS insured courier). We accept
payment using Bank Drafts, 'Swift' transfers,
International Money Order or PayPal..
5/ All items are strictly graded and our clients will
recognise that we tend to 'under grade' rather than over grade
an item. If you are in any doubt about the suitability of an
item for your own collection, we will happily answer any
specific questions and supply extra jpegs for any detail you
may wish to observe in closer details. Please do not leave
this until the last minute as experience has shown we are
extremely busy prior to the auction.
6/ Should the closing time of the auction be inconvenient for
your time zone, we are happy to accept 'maximum bids' on your
behalf. These work in the following way. Your reserve 'bids'
are only used when a competitive bid is received for the item
upon which you are bidding. For example, your maximum
'reserve' bid for a Lot is £1000. Bidding starts with your
opening bid at £500. A bid is received from a third party for
£600. Your next bid is then £700. If no further third party
bids are received, you pay £700 for the item. If additional
third party bids are received, we will continue in this manner
to make bids on your behalf until you have won, or the third
party bidder exceeds your maximum bid of £1000.
